For certain activities, you unlock Achievement Badges. Some of these are Inner Circle, Sharpshooter, Big Spender, Overachiever, Overtime, Friendlt, Wildfire and Champion.

Each badge has 3 levels that you progressively unlock.

2019 redesign

The top level tabs have roughly stayed the same while the visual style has been tweaked to be cleaner and the owl has been redrawn.

The Clubs feature is being A/B tested against the Leaderboards tab (and some users aren't happy about it: Petition to save Clubs)

Create profile

After you complete your first lesson, it asks you to create a profile. It asks for your age, name, email and password.

Gamification memes

You know your product's gamification is doing well (or at least being noticed) when there are memes about your mascot being pushy. 😄
